[origin: WO2009112520A1] The invention relates to a cable gripping tool for a spatially moving actuator of an automation machine, said cable gripping tool comprising: a) a carriage (20) which can be attached to the actuator (3), b) a first gripper (11) and a second gripper (12) for a cable (A1), c) a third gripper (13) and a fourth gripper (14) for another cable (A2), d) wherein the grippers (11, 12, 13, 14) are disposed at the carriage (20) moveably from a respective preliminary holding position (V) to a respective working position (W) in order to arrange the cables (A1, A2) in a placement device (4) according to a layout plan for the manufacture of a cable harness (D) by way of the respective gripper (11, 12, 13, 14) in respective working position (W) thereof.
