Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2929788A1] The method involves carrying out authentication of a security entity based on authentication parameters stored in the security entity, using an authentication unit of a terminal. A secure contactless connection i.e. near field communication, is established between the terminal and the security entity. Security data e.g. cryptographic key, stored in the security entity is received by a receiver of the terminal, during the secure contactless connection of the terminal and the security entity. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a secure usage terminal comprising an authentication unit (2) a security entity storing security data, comprising an authentication unit.
