[origin: EP2263949A1] The side-folded bag is made of plastic film, which is closed all sides at its upper bag edge by a head seal, and has a front wall (1), a rear wall, and V-shaped side folds (2,2 '). A re-closure (4) is assembled from Velcro(RTM: Hook-and-loop fasteners) sections, which are arranged on the front wall in the bag inside, the rear wall and both sides of the folds. The Velcro sections fastened on the front wall and the rear wall are arranged in an upper bag corner. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a side-folded bag.
