[origin: WO2009127576A1] The invention is directed at a storage compartment for products to be refrigerated for a refrigerator, said storage compartment being suitable for storing cans. The storage compartment for products to be refrigerated has a storage base (3) which has at least one retaining element (6) which projects in relation to its storage plane. The storage base is equipped with at least one receptacle (4) which serves to store cans horizontally and is matched to the shape of a can. The storage base is particularly preferably in the form of a removable insert (3).
