[origin: WO2009127503A1] The invention relates to an outdoor vending machine (1, 1) comprising the following elements: a user interface (25, 25') having a cover plate (5), there being disposed in the region thereof operating information items (21a, 21b, 21c, 21d, 21e, 21f, 21g) and force sensors (23a, 23b, 23c, 23d, 24a, 24b, 24c, 24d) coupled to the cover plate (5), said force sensors outputting signals (MDa, MDb, MDc, MDd) as a function of an external force exerted on the sensors via the cover plate (5), analysis electronics (33) having a pressure point determination unit (31) for ascertaining pressure points on the cover plate (5) based on the signals (MDa, MDb, MDc, MDd) of the force sensors (23a, 23b, 23c, 23d, 24a, 24b, 24c, 24d), an association unit (35), which associates different operator commands (BB) with different pressure points in operation, and a processing unit (39) which carries out sales actions (VA) in operation based on the operator commands (BB). To this end, the operating information items (21a, 21b, 21c, 21d, 21e, 21f, 21g) comprise operator command information items which are at least partially localized in or on a pressure area on the cover plate (5), activation in said pressure area being accomplished by touching a pressure point to which the association unit (35) assigns operator commands (BB) corresponding to the operator command information items.
