Abstract (en)
The security paper, for security documents, incorporates at least two large-surface elements e.g. a patch (11) and strip (12), which can be checked visually and have a variable optical effect. At least one element has a thin and multi-layer structure and at least one contains pigments and especially interference layer pigments, liquid crystal pigments or luminescent pigments. The security elements can have relief diffraction structures, a hologram, and the like. The security elements can be printed or applied by transfer, they can overlap to give a pattern, and cannot be separated from the paper.
