[origin: EP2267237A2] The device has a claw element (9) for engaging with a limiting edge (5) of a welt rail (4). Another claw element (10) engages with another limiting edge (6) of the welt rail lying opposite to the former limiting edge. The claw elements are swingably connected with each other for a fastening device (7) to snap into and become jammed in the welt rail. The claw elements are connected with each other by a flexible area, where one of the claw elements is connected with a welt rim (21). The claw elements exhibit a stop for limiting swingability.
