Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009071053A2] The invention relates to a device for producing biogas from organic matters, comprising a biogas reactor (210) forming at least one chamber (220, 230, 232), wherein a defined mixture made of fresh substrate comprising organic matters and recirculate comprising organic matters can be supplied to said biogas reactor via a mixing unit (286). According to the invention a controller is provided, which is suited to control a supply of the recirculate and/or of the fresh substrate to the mixing unit (286) at least as a function of a variable correlating with a fresh substrate composition of the fresh substrate supplied to the mixing unit (286) in order to obtain the defined mixture. In addition, the invention also relates to a corresponding method for producing biogas from organic matters.
