[origin: EP2269475A1] The filter has open-porous polymer structures and/or open-porous synthetic structures such as foam, and/or microfiber synthetic structures and/or perlon textile structures completely inert and non-adsorptive with respect to nicotine and/or nicotine-containing compounds and/or aroma substances. The open-porous synthetic structures, spunbonded fabric, felt and/or cloth made of textile, plastic, ceramic and/or glass microfibers. The filter exhibits retention and/or nicotine and/or nicotine-containing compounds and/or aroma substances of a cigarette in preset percentage. An independent claim is also included for a smoke-free cigarette comprising a mouthpiece.
