Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2269739A1] The method involves providing grain. The grain is conditioned for about 8 to 15 seconds with defined moisture contents. A fraction of peel components e.g. outer peel components, of the moisture grain is selectively removed from the conditioned grain using a peeler (4) such that the 0.2 to 0.5 weight percentage of grain is removed. The grain is again conditioned for about 1 to 5 minutes. Another fraction of the peel components is removed by another peeler (12) such that the latter fraction contains dietary fiber of the grain. An independent claim is also included for a system for performing a method for milling grain.
