[origin: EP2269781A2] The device (100) has a drive mechanism (104) e.g. swash plate drive (106), acting on a movably mounted adjusting body (102). The adjusting body is driven by the drive mechanism. An auxiliary mass (140) is moved relative to the adjusting body and provided at or in the adjusting body. The auxiliary mass is arranged within the adjusting body. The auxiliary mass is guided at or to the adjusting body. The auxiliary mass is formed from mass bodies. The auxiliary mass exhibits degree of freedom of movement relative to the adjusting body. An independent claim is also included for a handheld machine tool comprising a drive device.
