[origin: EP2269824A1] The method involves arranging image recording locations at different positions, where the positions comprise a predetermined fixed geometrical distance. Web paths of signals of material webs (7) are recorded at the image recording locations. Time points for image acquisition are calculated from structure length and impulse signals of the material webs. Images of the positions are recorded and stored at the image recording locations at the time points, where the images are simultaneously displayed. An independent claim is also included for a device for monitoring registered processing of web-like material in installations.
