[origin: EP2269917A1] The retainer has a head area (1), a retaining area, a securing area (2) arranged between the head area and the retaining area, and a one-piece cut made of a sheet material. The retaining area comprises two bendable or foldable terminal retaining brackets (5a, 5b), and the securing area comprises slit-shaped recesses (6a, 6b) for engaging the bendable or foldable retaining brackets. The retaining brackets extend from a tapered region (3) of the retaining area, where the tapered region is formed for encompassing a middle part of an object with the retaining bracket. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a presentation retainer.
