[origin: EP2269937A1] A landing doorway device for an elevator includes a tubular vertical frame provided to a side portion of a landing doorway, the tubular vertical frame including a landing doorway-facing portion facing the landing doorway and a hoistway-facing portion facing an interior of a hoistway. A vertical frame heat-insulating material is provided to the hoistway-facing portion, for preventing heat conducted from the landing doorway-facing portion to the hoistway-facing portion from being transferred to the interior of the hoistway.
