Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2270304A2] The profile (1) has a U-profile part comprising legs (4, 5), which are connected with each other by a cross rod (6). A receiver (8) is formed between the legs for an edge region of a cladding panel. The cross rod is connected with one of the leg by a predetermined breaking point (11) extending in longitudinal direction (7) of the U-profile part such that the leg is interrupted from the cross rod along the breaking point. An elastic seal element is arranged at inner side of the cross rod and the other leg.
