[origin: EP2271180A1] The arrangement has at least one driver (2) connected to a voltage source (3) and having current outputs (2A) via which current can be supplied to the LEDs (1) and at least one control input (2E,2S) via which current which can be supplied to the LEDs is controllable, and a counter (28) for determining the number of LEDs to be supplied with current at same time. The counter is connected to at least one control input for supplying to at least one control input a signal indicative of number of LEDs determined by the counter for assisting in controlling current to be supplied to the LEDs.
