The transport cylinder (54) comprises a sleeve (72) arranged on the cylindrical surface (74), said sleeve having a plurality of through-holes (92) aligned with at least some of the openings (82). The sleeve (72) has an outer surface (88) consisting of a second material. The surface energy of the outer surface (88) is lower than the surface energy of the first material. The invention is applicable to rotary presses.
