[origin: WO2009138664A2] This shutter system (14) for the barrel of a missile launcher, the launcher (1) comprising at least one container (2, 3) capable of accommodating at least one missile (4, 5) and a pipe (10) for discharging the propulsion gases comprising a gas extraction barrel (11), the container being in communication with the pipe when the missile is fired and the pipe being in communication with the atmosphere (12) via the barrel equipped with the said shutter system, is characterized in that the shutter system comprises at least one panel (12, 13) and a panel retaining means (18, 19), able to move between a closed position and an open position, the retaining means comprising a means (18a) of return from the open position to the closed position and a means (18b) of dissipating the energy resulting from the opening movement and the closing movement.
