[origin: EP2272602A2] The method involves positioning a lever ring in inclined manner, which has a beading (24) and a sealing surface adjoined to its beaded edge (24'). The sealing surface is sealed with its end adjoining to the lever ring opening. A tear off membrane is sealed to the sealing surface. A portion of sealing surface adjacent to the beading edge is clamped with the tear off membrane between the upper and the lower clamping tools (30,31) with flat clamping surfaces (32,33) for clamping of tear off membrane after the sealing. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a pull-tab lid; and (2) a device for manufacturing of pull-tab lid.
