Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2273045A1] The device (1) has a case (8) for accommodating a drive mechanism (7). A door-knob hole (9) is provided in the mechanism to directly or indirectly cooperate with a knob or a handle for controlling displacement of operation rods (6, 6A) between a locking position and a released position. Each rod is movably mounted on a side of a rear face (5) of a header (4) that is arranged with an opening (14). The door-knob hole acts on a shank (18) cooperating with the rods via driving-plate pins (19, 19A) and by fitment during assembling of the case on a front face (13) of the header. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a casement bolt device on a joinery of a door and a window.
