Abstract (en)

The device (1) has a widened ring (12) delimiting an opening (5), where the widened ring comprises a sheath (11) arranged at an interior of a tubular portion. The sheath comprises perforations (10) made of a material harder than aluminum, so that the sheath deforms a terminal section during setting the tubular portion and the sheath on the terminal section with an aluminum core. The aluminum core is encrusted in the perforations. The sheath and the widened ring are formed by a monoblock insert (9). An independent claim is also included for a process for manufacturing a connection device.

Le dispositif comporte un élément conducteur (3), une bague évasée (12) délimitant une ouverture d'introduction (5) ainsi qu'un fourreau (11) adapté à recevoir, dans son creux, un tronçon terminal de câble électrique à âme en aluminium, lequel fourreau comporte une pluralité de perforations (10) et étant d'une matière plus dure que l'aluminium de sorte que ledit fourreau est apte à déformer le tronçon terminal lors du sertissage avec l'âme en aluminium qui s'incruste dans les perforations (10). Selon l'invention, le fourreau (11) et la bague évasée (12) sont formés par un insert monobloc (9). Le procédé comporte l'étape d'insérer une douille dans l'élément conducteur (3), laquelle douille forme ledit fourreau (11) et une pré-bague de même section que le fourreau, et l'étape d'évaser la pré-bague de façon à former la bague évasée.
