Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009132858A2] The invention relates to a device for removing concretions from body vessels, comprising at least one compressible receiving element (20) for receiving concretions and a supply device (10) for guiding the compressed receiving element (20). The invention is characterized in that the receiving element (20) comprises a fluid-tight cover (21) which forms a, particularly proximal, hollow space (30a) that can be closed by the concretion to be removed. According to the invention, an actuation device (11) is assigned to the receiving element (20), which during use is in operative connection with the cover (21) and/or the hollow space (30a) such that a different pressure can be set inside the hollow space (30a) than outside said hollow space (30a) for moving, particularly detaching, the concretion to be removed.
