[origin: WO2009133259A1] The invention relates to a shaping station of a sequential metal wire shaping machine, in which machine a wire feed station feeds the wire along a feed axis (3) through a bending nose (101) which presents the wire to the tools of a bending head (102) that can move about the feed axis (3), characterized in that the bending head (102) is supported on an annular arm (103) centred on the feed axis (3) and rotatable about said feed axis (3). The annular arm (103), the rotational guide means thereof using rolling bearings (104), and a ring gear (105) are preferably mounted on a support plate (107) positioned vertically and at right angles to the wire feed axis (3). Furthermore, the support plate (107) is horizontally and vertically translatable in a plane perpendicular to the feed axis (3) which is also the axis of rotation of the arm (103).
