Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009118495A1] The invention relates to a supply station (1) for a thread (2) in a thread-shaping machine, wherein said station includes grooved rollers operating in pairs and rotating in opposite directions, the thread being clamped between said rollers by the relative closing-in of the latter, characterised in that the two rollers of a same pair of driving rollers (9, 10) are supported at the front of a same single-piece bearing block (7), the bearing block being elastically deformable for absorbing a relative movement of said rollers (9, 10). Preferably, the bearing block (7) also includes an endless transmission screw (15) on which meshes a pair of transmission wheels (13, 14) coaxial with the driving rollers (9, 10) that the former rotate. More particularly, a bearing block (7) is capable of deformation so that a relative movement of the rollers results in a rotation-deformation of the bearing block about the axis of the transmission screw (15).
