Abstract (en)
The device has a transport unit (2) for transporting a work piece (1) and a printing unit (3) including an applicator roll (4) that is operated on the work piece. The applicator roll includes a surface area (5) that is smoothly adjusted for a printing structured and profiled surface of the work piece. A digital printing head (6) such as ink jet printing head or laser printing head, is provided for a sample order on the applicator roll. A drying device (8) i.e. UV- dryer, is arranged in a direction of movement of the applicator roll of the printing unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for printing rigid work pieces e.g. decoration board and skirting board.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Bedrucken von starren Werkstücken (1) mit einem Muster, vorzugsweise mit einem Holzmaserungs-Dekor, mit einer Transporteinrichtung (2) für das Werkstück (1) und einer Druckeinrichtung (3), welche zumindest eine auf das Werkstück (1) einwirkende Auftragswalze (4) aufweist. Erfindungsgemäß weist die Auftragswalze (4) zum Bedrucken von strukturierten oder profilierten Oberflächen des Werkstückes (1) eine weich eingestellte Oberfläche (5) auf, wobei für den Musterauftrag auf die Auftragswalze (4) zumindest ein Digitaldruckkopf (6) vorgesehen ist.
