[origin: EP2275632A2] The partition (1) has a pair of panels (2, 2'-2''') each comprising horizontally spaced inner and outer side edges. A pair of horizontal and parallel upper ceiling and lower floor tracks (4) is provided above and below the panels. A set of latches is provided on the corresponding outer side edges shiftable between a locked position and an unlocked position. A shifting unit is provided for manually shifting one of the latches between the locked and unlocked positions, where the movement of the latch in a stowed position does not have any effect on the other latch.
