[origin: WO2009141546A1] A device for mounting a door (2) in the corresponding entry point in the body (10) of a motor vehicle, comprising a door gripping jig (1), an adjustable stop (3) mounted removably on one (4) of the sides of the entry point at the location normally intended for the lock strike of the door, the door (2) having on one of its sides (2a) a cutout (5) intended to be slotted over the adjustable stop (3) when the door (2) is in position in the entry point, characterized in that the gripping jig (1) has on the one hand first means for engaging with the body (10) of the vehicle and on the other hand second means for engaging with and bearing on the door (2) in order that said cutout (5) in the door bears against said adjustable stop (3).
