[origin: WO2009135511A1] The present invention relates to methods for automatically creating a category tree for the contents of a database, wherein a taxonomy of the database is created on the basis of co-occurrences. The present invention also relates to a data processing system having data which represent information in at least one database which is accessible via at least one data source and is designed and/or set up to at least partially carry out a method according to the invention. In addition, the present invention relates to a data processing device for electronically processing data, which device has a control and/or computation unit, an input unit and an output unit and is designed and/or set up to at least partially carry out a method according to the invention, preferably using at least one part of a data processing system according to the invention.
