The transport device (1) has a gripping device (2) connected with a drive device (3) by a connection element (5) i.e. locking pin. The gripping device includes a control element with which the drive device is movable via an electrical unit. The electrical unit is deactivated in an external function position of the connection element. The connection element includes an outer winding (17) via which the connection element is screwable at the gripping device and at the drive device. The connection element is partially made of electrically conductive material (19).

Eine Transportvorrichtung, insbesondere Schiebehilfe oder Treppensteiger zum Anbau an einen Rollstuhl oder dergleichen, umfassend eine Griffvorrichtung (2), eine Antriebsvorrichtung (3) und ein Verbindungselement (5), wobei die Griffvorrichtung (2) und die Antriebsvorrichtung (3) miteinander verbindbar sind, die Griffvorrichtung (2) ein Bedienelement aufweist, mit dem die Antriebsvorrichtung (3) über elektrische Mittel bewegbar ist, und wobei die Griffvorrichtung (2) über das Verbindungselement (5) mit der Antriebsvorrichtung (3) unverlierbar zusammenfügbar ist und die elektrischen Mittel in einer Außerfunktionsstellung des Verbindungselements (5) deaktiviert sind.
