Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009127569A1] The invention relates to an extrusion apparatus (1) for producing continuous profiled elements (8), in particular plastic pipes, comprising a melting device for supplying moldable raw material, a molding device for defining the shape of the continuous profiled element, a vacuum device (2) which is used for stabilizing the shape of the continuous profiled element and the internal pressure of which is lower than atmospheric pressure, a water storage container (4) that is used for air-tightly sealing the vacuum tank and the internal pressure of which is higher than atmospheric pressure, and multiple seals (3, 6) for maintaining differences in pressure in the extrusion apparatus. In order to ensure tightness while maintaining differences in pressure in the extrusion apparatus, at least some of the multiple seals (3, 6) have a sealing wall (9) made of an elastic material as well as a half-open pressure duct (10), the open side (16) of which presses against the continuous profiled element (8).
