[origin: WO2009143642A1] The yarn-cleaner measuring head (1) comprises a measuring-head housing (11) and an electronic circuit (21) accommodated in the measuring-head housing (11). The electronic circuit (21) can be connected to an electric connection cable (4) via a connection (3) on the measuring head. The connection (3) on the measuring head here is designed for making a releasable connection between the yarn-cleaner measuring head (1) and the connection cable (4), and the connection (3) on the measuring head contains first connecting means (32, 33) which are configured for making a releasable mechanical latch-in connection to second connecting means (63) contained in the connection cable (4). This makes the removal, the installation or the exchange of the yarn-cleaner measuring head significantly easier and less hazardous.
