[origin: US2010327003A1] A device for the distribution of paper portions has a rotatable roller which is formed with a slot and over which a paper web is guided. A blade which is arranged on at least one carrier movable within the roller and is movable in and out through the slot over a part of the roller rotation. Each carrier is reciprocatable in the slot of the rotating roller and is guided rotationally along a non-circular stationary cam path.
