[origin: EP2280230A2] The method involves recognizing pollution condition, when power of a heating device (2) fluctuates over a pre-determined measure or more than thirty percentage of maximum power of the heating device, and a hot-water-initial temperature at a wall hanging heat exchanger (1) i.e. plate-type heat exchanger, is less than a pre-determined hot water-reference temperature. The pollution condition is monitored from time to time, in periodic intervals or in a gap of less than two days. The hot-water-initial temperature is monitored at a hot water outlet connector (4) of the heat exchanger.
