[origin: WO2009133031A1] A vacuum cleaner nozzle (1), in particular for use in an advance (R1) and reverse direction (R2), having a nozzle head (2) and a nozzle base (3), in which at least one suction port (4) is implemented, from which dirt catching elements (5) are disposed upstream at least in the advance direction (R1), which are disposed rigidly on the nozzle head (2) and/or the nozzle base (3) and/or are implemented so they can be at least partially countersunk into the nozzle head (2), wherein at least a part of said dirt catching elements (5) have a cross section (Q) tapering away from said suction port (3) in said advance (R1) and/or reverse directions (R2) such that a hollow area (6) acting as a dirt trap is implemented on the side facing toward said suction port (4), wherein openings (7a, 7b) for the passage of dirt particles are provided laterally to each dirt catching element (5).
