[origin: WO2009132867A1] For fire-fighting purposes, an extinguishing nozzle body (2) for spraying an extinguishing fluid and a firefighting unit are proposed. The extinguishing nozzle body is characterized by at least two spray nozzles (4) disposed along the circumference of the extinguishing nozzle body (2), and at least one deflector (8) disposed in the region of the spray jet (6) of the extinguishing fluid exiting from the spray nozzles (4). Good firefighting is achieved in that a spray angle (10) of the spray jet relative to lateral surface of the extinguishing nozzle body (2), an angle of approach (12) of the deflector (8) relative to the direction of the spray jet (6), a distance (14) of the deflector (8) from the lateral surface of the extinguishing nozzle body (2), and a high pressure of the extinguishing fluid are set such that a cone-shaped spray pattern is obtained.
