[origin: CA2724484A1] An apparatus (10) for the material-bed comminution of wet conglomerates, in particular of wet coke, has a storage container for material which is comminuted and also a material-bed roller mill (20). For efficient grinding, the storage container is configured as a storage silo (12) with a two-dimensionally moving discharging screw (14), wherein the material which is to be comminuted is directed out of the storage silo (12), by the discharging screw (14), to a compacting screw (18), which is arranged immediately upstream of the material-bed roller mill (20) and has at least one non-continuous screw blade (30).
