[origin: WO2009144067A1] The invention relates to a refrigerator, in particular a household refrigerator (1 ), comprising a housing (2) with an interior space (3) located therein for holding cooled goods (4), a compressor (5), a condenser (8) and an evaporator (6), wherein the compressor (5), the condenser (8) and the evaporator (6) are connected for conducting fluid, thereby forming a cooling circuit (7), and wherein the condenser (8) comprises cooling structures (9) around which ambient air flows, wherein heat storage elements are provided for increasing the ratio of heat absorption capacity of the condenser (8) to the internal volume thereof and/or wherein the ratio of the heat absorption capacity of the condenser to the internal volume thereof is at least 20 J/Kcm3. The invention is characterized by a simple means of manufacture, an improved efficiency and by lower operating costs.
