[origin: EP2128719A1] The device (1) has phasing units for phasing an hour hand and for authorizing modification of a position of the hour hand with respect to a standard display. A modification unit modifies a position of the hour hand with respect to the standard display. Activating units activate the modification unit, and controlling units control the activating units. The phasing units have a coupling system (6) mounted on an hour wheel (5) and arranged for ensuring an elastic connection with a star wheel (7).
