Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009138497A1] The invention relates to a device for stacking securities, in particular bank notes. The securities (BN) are stacked upright in a stacking area on a stacking surface and the stacking process ends when a pre-determined stack length is reached. The stack formation is done in a receiving bag (14) held fixed in the entrance area of the securities (BN) by way of a support frame (10), said bag forming a source (15) at the periphery of the support frame (10). As the stack length grows, the receiving bag material is automatically withdrawn from the source (15) so that the length of the receiving bag (14) matches the length of the security stack (31) continuously. At the end of the stacking process, the receiving bag (14) is sealed shut at the opening thereof, such as by fusing, and can then be removed from the stacking area and used as a transport container or security bag.
