Abstract (en)
The appliance (1) has an electric motor (4) for driving a rotatably mounted drum (2) and/or a process air blower. A control and/or measurement unit (6) determines air flow capacity of the blower and the remaining drying time (lambda t) and/or the load (B) i.e. weight of clothes, in the drum based on a detected electrical parameter e.g. current, of the motor. The control and/or measurement unit controls the heating capacity for the drying operation based on the air flow capacity, the remaining drying time and the load in the drum.

Ein Wäschebehandlungsgerät 1 zum Trocknen und/oder Waschen von Wäsche weist eine drehbar gelagerte Trommel 2, einen Elektromotor 4, der zum Antreiben der Trommel 2 dient, und eine Steuer- und Messeinrichtung 6 für den Elektromotor 4 auf. Dabei erfasst die Steuer- und Messeinrichtung 6 eine von dem Elektromotor 4 induzierte Spannung U und einen elektrischen Strom I durch den Elektromotor 4. Ferner bestimmt die Steuer- und Messeinrichtung 6 in Abhängigkeit von diesen elektrischen Parametern U, I des Elektromotors 4 eine Beladung B und/oder eine Luftleistung L und/oder eine verbleibende Trocknungszeit ”t der Trommel 2.
