Abstract (en)
The device has housing that is worn on ear of user. A channel is formed in housing as a through opening for allowing passage of sound and air between interior of the ear and an environment outside the ear. The valve (17) is formed by electroactive polymer material. The valve changes the size of through-opening at specific position by application of voltage. An independent claim is included for method of operating in-the-ear hearing device.

Für eine besonders gute Anpassung an die jeweilige Hörsituation ist eine Hörvorrichtung zum Tragen im Ohr mit einem Gehäuse und einem in dem Gehäuse angeordneten Kanal, welcher als Durchtrittsöffnung zwischen dem Ohrinneren und dem Ohräußeren für Schall oder Luft ausgeführt ist, wobei der Kanal ein Bauelement, insbesondere ein Ventil, aufweist, welches zur Veränderung der Größe der Durchtrittsöffnung an zumindest einer Position ausgebildet ist, vorgesehen.
