[origin: WO2009124870A1] The invention relates to a method for the non-oxidative dehydroaromatisation of aliphatic hydrocarbons by reacting an educt flow containing aliphatic hydrocarbons, in the presence of a catalyst containing at least one metalosillcate as a carrier, at least one element selected from the groups Mo, W and Re as active components and at least one additional transitional metal that is not a precious metal, as a dopant. The catalyst is regularly regenerated under non-oxidative conditions with hydrogen. Preferably, Fe, Ni, Cu and Co are used as additional transitional metals.
