[origin: WO2009147129A1] The invention relates to a device for determining and/or monitoring at least one flow parameter of a medium, the medium flowing through a measuring unit (1), wherein at least one excitation transducer element (13) is provided which excites on the basis of an excitation signal the measuring unit (1) to carry out mechanical vibrations, and wherein at least one reception transducer element (11, 12) is provided which receives mechanical vibrations of the measuring unit (1) as a receiving signal. The invention is characterized in that the measuring unit (1) comprises at least one guide unit (2) and a support unit (3), the medium flows through the guide unit (2), the guide unit (2) and the support unit (3) are mechanically coupled to one another, the reception transducer element (11, 12) and the excitation transducer element (13) are mechanically coupled to the support unit (3) and the reception transducer element (11, 12) and the excitation transducer element (13) are indirectly coupled in a mechanical manner to the guide unit (2) via the support unit (3).
