[origin: WO2009146565A1] The invention relates to a pressure sensor 1 for measurements in a chamber 29 of an internal combustion engine, in particular a pressure-measuring glowplug. This pressure sensor 1 comprises a housing 2, a pressure element 3 for picking up a pressure, and a measuring element 4 arranged in the housing 2 downstream of the pressure element 3 in the direction of the pressure and having a sensor element 5 and a diaphragm 7. This diaphragm is permanently connected at its first end 9 to the pressure element 3, and at its second end 10 it is directly or indirectly permanently connected to the housing 2 at a connection 19, with the pressure element 3 being supported on the measuring element 4 via the diaphragm 7.
