[origin: EP2283900A1] The device has electrically actuatable and controllable block valves (16, 18) arranged in a direction from an oxygen pressure accumulator (4) to oxygen masks (10). The block valves are arranged parallel to each other, where one of the block valves exhibits a normal open (NO)-function and the other block valve exhibits a normal closed (NC)-function. The block valves are controlled by an electronic control device (20). A cabin pressure sensor (28) is signal-connected with the electronic control device.
