Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2283976A2] The device has a rotary tool support (3) for accommodating an insertion tool (15), and an impact element for axially driving the insertion tool. An insertion adapter (11) is detachably inserted in the rotary tool support. A tool holder (14) lies in the insertion adapter over a portion along the axial length of the insertion adapter, when the tool holder is inserted into the rotary tool support. An adapter shaft (12) of the insertion adapter protrudes into the tool support. A groove (16) is formed in the adapter shaft for accommodating a locking ball (6). The insertion tool comprises a special direct system (SDS) drill bit.
