Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2284081A1] The method involves sealing or welding a single or multi-layered film with an internal layer, and merging the single or multi-layered film and the internal layer as a flat film in a tubular form. A longitudinal seam (2) is formed between folded longitudinal edges for forming a tube. The bottom of the tube is closed by transverse bottom seams (3) for forming an open packaging container (1). The top of the tube is closed by a transverse top seam (4), where the longitudinal seam is formed as a hand-tearable seam. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a tubular film for manufacturing a packaging container (2) a packaging container comprising a hand-tearable longitudinal seam.
