[origin: EP2284366A1] The component (1) has an inner cover (17) and a hollow cylindrical housing (2) which is put together with an inner element (3). The component is formed as a cam follower or a support element for a cam follower, where a recess (8) is formed for the housing by two front rings (11,12). Each front ring is an end component of a separate, thin walled and pipe like sections (13,14) that run firmly with its outer cover (15,16).
