Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009135805A1] The invention relates to a device for winding strip-shaped material, comprising at least one first winding point (A) and at least one second winding point (B), in which first (2) and second reels (3) for the strip-shaped material can be rotatably mounted. Said device comprises a strip connecting device (4, 9, 12, 14, 20) for connecting a first strip wound onto the first winding point to a second strip wound onto a second winding point (B), and at least one winding point that is stationary in relation to the radial position thereof. The strip connecting device is characterised in that the first strip can be led to the periphery of the second strip reel and can be connected to the second strip. The invention also relates to a corresponding method and to a strip processing device comprising at least one of the above-mentioned winding devices.
