[origin: WO2009146799A1] The invention relates to an assembly aid for a radial cylinder rolling bearing having a mounting structure (10) for mounting rolling elements (12) of the rolling bearing during an assembly process, wherein the rolling elements (12) are supported in a first radial direction (R1) by a first component and in a second radial direction (R2) by the mounting structure (10), and the mounting structure (10) comprises a plurality of axially protruding extensions (16) each engaging in an intermediate space between two rolling elements (12), and the rolling elements (12) overlap the extensions (16) in the second radial direction (R2), and the extensions (16) press the rolling elements (12) against the first component, and the assembly aid can be axially removed from the rolling bearing after completion of the assembly of the rolling bearing.
